Registration is open for the Mahamudra OnLine Retreat with Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche and Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen, being held August 20th – 22nd. Hosted by NalandaBodhi Brazil, and promoted through our local NalandaWest, find access to this simple, contemplative meditation practice that provides an experience of mind that is completely free and joyful.
Mahamudra is the natural state of our being, and a life-changing practice that extracts the essential points of the Buddha’s teachings. During this weekend of learning and meditation, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche will give key instructions during the retreat while Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen will lead participants in the actual meditation practice. Mahamudra practice is about being genuine, relaxed, and aware in every situation in life, and an acceptance and appreciation of who we are.
This very rare opportunity provides teachings and engagement in the ancient wisdom of Mahamudra. The talks will be given live, but also recorded and available for viewing for 24 hours. There are no prerequisites to attend, but it is highly recommended that participants have a regular meditation practice and some basic understanding of Buddhist principles.
Register, and find information about retreat times and activities, in the U.S. West, on the NalandaBodhi website. If the cost of the retreat is beyond your financial means, but you still wish to attend, request a scholarship by e-mail.
