On Friday, April 10th, from 8p – 10p, the fourth in the Nectar Virtual Concert Series will take place, featuring Buzz Brümp.
These concerts are ‘Pay-What-You-Will’, with viewers asked to donate through the Nectar Lounge paypal site (click here.) The concert is a fundraiser for Buzz Brümp, the out-of-work staff of Nectar Lounge, and the Lounge itself, as the owners attempt to keep everyone operational through the COVID-19 lockdown. A $10 donation is requested, but if you can give more, please consider doing so! You can also pay via info@nectarlounge.com It is also possible to ‘buy’ tickets through EventBrite (click here,) with a nominal fee payment.
The livestream of the Buzz Brümp concert can be seen on the Nectar YouTube Channel (click here,) presented by Nectar Lounge and The PBJ. This acoustic funk and mountain jam band lives locally, but its motley members hail from all over the U.S. After years of freestyling music and words on riverbeds, beaches, ski lifts, porches and garages, Buzz Brümp formed with the explicit goal of getting music lovers of all types grooving together harmoniously, and sweating it out on the dance floor.
It was with a heavy heart that Nectar had to cancel all its shows this spring, but the health and safety of our community is their first priority. We’re all missing seeing the live concerts, but it is still possible to support the great performers and support staff that make this form of entertainment possible.
