On Tuesday, August 7th, expect to see a lot of neighborhood streets shut down, and neighbors out community-building and celebrating at block parties all over Seattle.
This is the National Night Out, promoted in Seattle as a way to strengthen crime prevention by building awareness and neighborhood support for anti-crime efforts. Night Out allows communities to unite and share responsibility for our safety and our neighborhoods.
