The Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) monthly meeting for August will be held this Monday, on the 22nd, starting at 7p. Starting this month, the volunteer organization has changed the location of their meeting from History House to Doric Lodge #92 at 619 N 35th Street.
A chartered organization, the FNC represents the concerns and interests of the residents of Fremont. Membership is voluntary, and annual, and while members are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings, they are open to the general public as well.
For more information on the FNC, check out their website for their by-laws and copies of the minutes from past meetings. Also, on Fremocentrist.com read highlight reels from their July 2011, June 2011, and May 2011 meetings.
