At the corner of Stone Way & N 35th St, the new restaurant Thackeray has opened.

Now open, Thackeray is a neighborhood restaurant and bar with a warm, inviting atmosphere that combines welcoming services with an eclectic interior, ideal for Fremont.  Another in the popular series of eateries from the Heavy Restaurant Group (Purple Café & Wine Bar, Barrio, The Commons, Lot No. 3, Meet The Moon, Cast Iron Studios,) Thackeray will be open for lunch (from 11a – 3p,) and dinner (4p – close,) with Happy Hour from 3p – 6p, all at its newly opened location at N 35th & Stone Way, near Evo and Brooks Sports.

With a seasonally inspired menu, bold in flavor, Thackeray will serve up shareable plates of mezze spreads, braised meatball subs, Hamachi crudo and lemon anchovy charred broccoli.  Main plates include seared black cod, Ethiopian spiced fried chicken, ancient grain risotto, and, of course, a house burger.

Thackeray will also feature a wide assortment of drink offerings, developed by Casey Robinson and Chris Horn, incorporating spirits, wine and beer, along with aperitifs, Amari, Kombucha and sipping vermouth.  The Thackeray bar highlights include a Spanish-style gin & tonic menu and rotating taps.
