At the Fremont Neighborhood Council meeting on July 26, 2010, neighbors of the Buckaroo Tavern reported that the landlords of the landmark bar have not renewed the lease. The Buckaroo Tavern will close after ’72 years of beers at the Buck’ to be replaced by a ‘Spirits-Wine-Beer Restaurant’ according to the license application now posted on the building.
The liquor license application has been posted, and comments will be taken for the next 20 days. If you have comment on the applicant, or license, please contact the Washington State Liquor Board. The Fremont Neighborhood Council Board did not to take any action on this at this time. Neighbors are encouraged to weigh in individually – if they have comments to make.
