In their continuing quest to keep staff and customers safe, a few Fremont businesses have chosen to require customers to provide proof of vaccine for entry.  Most of these requirements will take effect on Monday, August 2nd – so it is important that you have your card either on you or on your phone.

At Talarico’s, starting July 30th, “vaccination is required for entry at Talarico’s Fremont/Ballroom.  This decision is not intended to exclude, it is intended to ensure the safety of our staff and guests,” according to a post on the Talarico’s Fremont Facebook page (click here.)

If you go to Ballroom Nights at Talarico’s, don’t forget your proof of vaccine.

Both Nectar Lounge and High Dive have announced that to attend a show, starting on August 2nd, at the door everyone will need to present official government photo identification (after all, these are 21+ establishments,) and a vaccine card (or photo), proof of vaccination in an approved app, or a negative COVID-19 test done within 48 hours of arrival and administered at an approved Seattle & King County Public Health location (click here.)  Find out more on the Nectar website, or the High Dive site (click here.)

At The Barrel Thief, “starting Tuesday, August 3rd, customers will need to provide proof of vaccination,” according to the website (click here.)  “In the interest of customer & staff well-being,” the website said, “This policy will be in effect until we deem the local Covid numbers to have sufficiently improved.”

Red Star Taco Bar will also require proof of vaccination, as of August 2nd, by all guests.  “Breakthrough cases are on the rise and the health and safety of our staff and community remain our top priority,” according to the Red Star Facebook page (click here,) “Please be kind to the staff who are enforcing the rules, and thank you for your understanding.”  This rule will be enforced at both the Fremont and Tacoma locations.

If you want to enter these businesses, you will need to provide the proof they require.  Please be prepared, and keep yourself and others safe – and respect the needs of others to do the same.
