The dates for the public open house/stakeholders workshops have been rescheduled.  The opportunity for the public, in addition to the members of the project’s community stakeholders, to view the conceptual floor plans, cost information, architectural elevations and “flyover” simulations for the final five remodel concepts under consideration for the North Seattle Transfer Station have been rescheduled for Monday, March 7th and Monday, March 14th.  The two public viewings will still be held at the offices of the Institute for Systems Biology (at 837 N 34th St.)

Originally the open houses were reported as scheduled for February 28th & March 2nd on Fremocentrist.com, in a column and on the community calendar.   Word of the schedule change came through word-of-mouth but was confirmed by information posted on the North Transfer Station project website, which also contains a great deal of information on the process of choosing a remodeling plan so far.
