On November 9th, at 3p, the Fremont Fireside Chat series – sponsored by HomeStreet Bank – will continue at History House of Greater Seattle with ‘The 1,003 Stories of Fremont.’  Come hear about the Fremont people, culture, activities, history and legends researched and written by Kirby Lindsay, a columnist covering Fremont since 1998.

This fall, Fremocentrist.com posted the 1,000th column written/edited by Lindsay on fabulous, friendly, funky, fun, fantastic and always fascinating Fremont.  Geographically a small area of the City of Seattle, Fremont has an incredible breadth of interesting and informative stories to share – and on November 9th, Lindsay will give highlights from the last 15 years of its history.

This one-hour presentation will move quickly along, with updates, details on stories never shared, and a brief glimpse at stories still to come.  Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions on their own favorite Fremont stories, and suggest the stories they’d like to read in the future.

This all-ages appropriate afternoon is FREE, including the juice-and-cookie reception to follow in the sculpture garden of History House.  Find out more about the Fremont Fireside Chat on the Facebook event page, or e-mail questions to instigator@box2219.temp.domains
