On Monday, February 23rd, from 6:30p – 9p attend a class through North Seattle Community College (NSCC) in French brandy at The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar. The Cognac & Armagnac class will open your eyes to a whole new world of barrel-aged spirits.
In this experiential class (students must be 21 or older,) meet two of the most famous brandies: elegant Cognac and its lesser-known cousin Armagnac. Learn about what they are, the history, how they are made, how they are graded, and how best to enjoy them in this educational class that includes plenty of samples.
Winter is a great time to delve into the world of French brandy. Register for this class through NSCC, which costs $39. A $10 materials fee will be payable to the instructor in class.
