On Wednesday, April 23rd, starting at 8p, a Bluegrass Benefit will be held at Nectar Lounge with all proceeds going to help the victims and communities devastated by the mudslide in the Oso/Darrington area on March 22nd (click here for an ABC news report.)
Featuring live music by Dysfunction Junction, Pickled Okra, and Spare Rib & The Bluegrass Sauce, the evening of entertainment will also include raffle prizes (including snowboards, a Kala ukulele from Dusty Strings, Wintergrass Festival passes, and tickets to future Nectar shows.)
Tickets cost $10 (donation,) and can be purchased on-line. Proceeds from all donations (consider giving more…) will go to the North Counties Family Service Relief Fund, a licensed 501(c)3 organization that has been working in the Darrington community for 20+ years.
