On Friday, March 21st, at 7p, everyone is welcome to watch – or participate – in a community salon gathering at Little Heart Space called ‘Use Your Outside Voice!’  Described by organizers as the Seattle version of ‘Prairie Home Companion,’ this salon offers an opportunity for guests to share their talents in a super low-stress, supportive environment, hosted by Kate Gavigan of The Seattle Artist’s Way.

Also described as ‘one step up from performing for your parents,’ this throwback experience features performance pieces (no more than 10 minutes and G-rated,) by the general public.  A list of performers have been pre-scheduled, but guests are invited to show up and get on the list if they have something prepared.

An audience of those uninterested in performing but ready to listen and enjoy is also needed and welcomed!  The evening is free to attend, although a basket will be passed for donations to go to a worthy cause.  Those who want to share their gifts in another way are invited to bring a dish of something sweet or savory to share.
