On Friday, August 28th, at 8p, ‘Scratch My Back’ will be at West of Lenin Theatre for a one-night-only evening of macabre and eccentric stories. At WofL, Bret Fetzer will tell his most recently written American fairy tales in a sprightly, dynamic style.
Long-time fabulist Fetzer unveils four tales of boys turned into rabbits, balloons flying up to heaven, girls escaping marriage with the Devil’s help, and more. Accompanying Fetzer will be Jillian Vashro and Christine Longé of the Moonshine Revival Choir, singing period songs between stories. Come enjoy pictures painted upon the air as Fetzer unspools his unpredictable narratives.
Tickets for this very special performance cost $12 per person (students/seniors pay $8) and can be purchased in advance through Brown Paper Tickets, or at the WofL box office. Find more information on this rare performance through the WofL website, or on the ‘Scratch My Back’ Facebook event page.
