In the evenings, when the critters are all tucked, snug in their beds, go stroll the extensive grounds of Woodland Park Zoo, to see the gorgeous lights and displays of WildLights. This visual wonderland recalls the early days of the Park, when Guy Phinney first built the menagerie and pleasure grounds that careful management and care have transformed, 100-years later, into one of the world’s greatest Zoos, and an illuminated marvel evenings in December.
WildLights will close after January 1st, 2017, so make sure you stop by this week and take a slow gander at the creative displays. Presented by Sound Credit Union, WildLights takes place each evening from 5:30p – 8:30p, and is a wonderful way to spend an evening with family and friends of all ages.
Bundle up and close out the year with a bright night spent under the stars, lit by these colorful confections of light, along with taking part in faux snowball fights and meeting Santa’s reindeer. Share your memories by tagging photos of friends and family with #wpzwildlights and get entered into a chance to win a Zoo membership and other prizes.
