It may be a long way out, but tickets are already becoming scarce for the ‘Captains For A Cure’ Fundraiser on September 14th at Fremont Mischief DistilleryBuy tickets now (click here) to be able to participate in this afternoon gathering to benefit the American Parkinson’s Disease Association Northwest (APDA NW.)

On Saturday, September 14th, from Noon – 3p, at Fremont Mischief, share fishing stories with the “Deadliest Catch”TM daredevils of the Bering Sea, while being one of the first to sample the latest Storm Tossed Whiskey.  Hosted by Trident Seafoods, Cameron Catering and Fremont Mischief, this auction fundraiser for APDA NW is one of the few times when five of the Discovery Channel’s Captains will be gathered together, for fun and festivities to celebrate the new Storm Tossed – and finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease!

Friend and hero, Chuck Bundrant, founder of Trident Seafoods, has been instrumental in helping the “Deadliest Catch” Captains (Sig Hansen of F/V Northwestern, Casey McManus & Josh Harris of F/V Cornelia Marie, Sean Dwyer of F/V Brenna A, and Keith Colburn of F/V Wizard,) and many others get started in the fishing industry.  Bundrant is still an active and hope-filled member of the maritime community, despite the struggles he faces while battling an atypical form of Parkinson’s Disease.  Come help the Captains, and others of the community, raise money for the fight!

The Captain’s hope to raise $250,000 for APDA NW, through silent and live auctions.  Some items available are the Captain’s Chair from the F/V Cornelia Marie wheelhouse, crab & whiskey packages, vacation getaways, autographed photos, logo gear, and one really stinky pair of greenhorn baiting gloves!  Also, take part in the ‘blind’ tastes of four new Fremont Mischief Storm Tossed Rye Whiskey, aged aboard four of the Captains’ ships in the Bering Sea for two years!  Four new Mischief Whiskeys will be available for the first time at the ‘Captains For A Cure’ fundraiser, bottled and ready for signing.
