This month, on December 7th and December 14th, from 3p – 8p, get a rare opportunity to step inside the glass blowing studio of local artist Rodman Miller and purchase specially priced pieces of art.
Miller, known for his public art pieces around Fremont including the glass flowers on the fence in front of Starbucks, the Rapunzel neon on the Fremont Bridge, and the ‘Blue Plate Special’ of finals on the Epi Building, also creates much more portable, and gorgeous, glass vases, vessels and bowls using eye-catching colors.
Even if not in the market for original art glass gifts, stop by to see the studio and maybe catch a piece of glass being blown right before your eyes. Nothing is better on a winter’s afternoon/evening than basking in the heat of the kiln and watching art created right before your eyes.
The studio is inside the garage at 2929 Mayfair Avenue, across the Fremont Bridge. Stop by and say hello – and check out the spectacular sites and awesome art!
