On Saturday, August 10th, the Fremont Outdoor Movies bring out the capes and the crusaders, the superheroes and the mythological Norse gods, and all the fun that comic book capers can create.
‘The Avengers’, a mega-blockbuster from 2012, will be playing on the painted screen of the Outdoor Cinemas parking lot for this week’s summer evening delight. This star-studded action film (Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and more) was directed by one of the most highly regarded fantasy film directors/screenwriters working today – Joss Whedon. While it promises a thrill-ride for first-time viewers, expect fans to turn out in throngs to see this film shown the way so few are – under the night sky stars!
