On Saturday, June 20th, the Solstice Cyclists want to get their art on, literally, and they need skilled painters (or serious beginners) for body painting.  Want to make a huge contribution to the most talked about event of Fremont, and our region?  Want to send your original art out into the world in a truly striking way?

Air brush painters, who have their own gun or want to use one on loan, are sought to help get 100s of bare bodies ready for the ride before the Fremont Arts Council Solstice Parade.

Experienced professionals are needed, but newbies seeking more experience can also participate.  Painters cannot charge for their services at the Solstice Cyclists site, but tip jars are welcome – particularly for artists making a living from creating art.  Anyone without experience, and in conflict with the sincere intents of creating art, will be asked to leave.

The Solstice Cyclists intend to host a comfortable, safe Paint-Up, respectful of nudity and painted bodies.  Paint-Up will begin, for set-up, at 8:30a, with the public welcome to arrive starting at 9a.  Cyclists leave the Ballard site at 2p.  To offer painting services, or ask questions, visit the Solstice Cyclists website or contact alohakudra@gmail.com
