Passing – Philanthropist, Fremont Friend & Landlord, Faye Garneau

On Monday, September 2nd, a long-time Fremont friend and past property owner passed away.  Faye Garneau, with her late husband Eduoard (‘Eddie’), owned properties around Seattle (including Fremont) where they ran auto shops, and then leased to small businesses.  As they sold off the properties, Garneau became benefactress to many schools, churches and non-profits through the Garneau-Nicon Family Foundation.

Condolences to the friends and family of this strong, vibrant woman.
Condolences to the friends and family of this strong, vibrant woman.

A strong, smart business woman, Garneau became active in our community at a very young age and continued that involvement as she and her husband grew their businesses.  A long-time parishioner at Christ The King, and founding member of the Aurora Avenue Merchants Association, Garneau touched hundreds of lives over the course of her life.  She will be greatly missed by so many.
