On Saturday, July 9th, from 1p – 4p, the Seattle Police Foundation will host the North Seattle ‘Picnic At the Precinct’ at the Seattle Police Department North Precinct (10049 College Way North.)
Besides being a great chance for North Precinct residents (and business owners) to enjoy family-friendly, and free, entertainment – including food, dancing and assorted children’s activities – the Picnic provides a unique opportunity to meet and celebrate with local law enforcement personnel.
Members of the Seattle Police Department’s specialty units – including K-9, mounted, bomb squad, and SWAT – will be on-hand, as well as equipment on display to for viewing by the public.
In addition, on Saturday, July 16th, from 11a – 2p, the Police Foundation will host the first Picnic at Harbor Patrol station (1717 N. Northlake Place.) This will be a chance to meet the select Patrol officers, and view their specialty technology including SCUBA gear, a remote underwater vehicle, sidescan sonar, forward looking infrared, and more.
So come out and celebrate our SPD! For more information, go to the Seattle Police Foundation website.
