NalandaWest has lots of programs aimed at educating and elevating participants, and with Zoom, it is even easier for everyone to benefit from these opportunities.

On Saturday, August 22nd, from 10:30a – 11:30a, senior Nalandabodhi teacher Mitra Mark Power will give a talk on ‘The Poetry of Mindful Activity’.  Learn about how to bring meditation practice into daily life, and hear a poetic exploration of being present, with genuine dharma intentions.  Pre-registration for this talk is on the Nalandabodhi.org website (click here,) and an e-mail will be sent with the Zoom link.

Learn the basic foundations of Buddhism through Nalandabodhi / NalandaWest.

Starting on September 2nd, from 7p – 8:30p, join a 16-week cycle of introductory teachings, exploring the basic principles of Buddhism.  This ‘Introduction to Buddhism’ will lay the foundation for deeper studies, and walk through the views of different Buddhist schools.  Register for these courses, held on Wednesday evenings, for free (although donations are accepted,) but source books, by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, are available for purchase through the Nalanda bookstore (click here.)
