‘Poets, Powerpoint & A Delightful Misuse of Company Time’ At West of Lenin

On July 19th, at 7:30p, at West of Lenin, find out what happens when a poetic imagination is given access to PowerPoint – and far too much free time!

West of Lenin and Ripple Productions will present an evening of poetic explorations in slideshow form with ‘Poets, Powerpoint & A Delightful Misuse of Company Time.’

Tickets to this one-night-only event cost $30 (available at Brown Paper Tickets,) with the proceeds to benefit Humanities Washington.

Conceived by Humanities Washington trustee (and West of Lenin proprietor) A.J. Epstein and Washington State Poet Laureate Kathleen Flenniken, the evening will feature presentation by celebrated artists including Keri Healey, Peter Pereira, Martha Silano, Molly Tenenbaum, Barbara Earl Thomas, and other special guests.

Come enjoy a special and unique opportunity as each writer presents original work accompanied by a digital slideshow that will meld the visual and the word using PowerPoint poetics.  This event is 21+ only.
