The community work party originally scheduled for cleaning and pruning at Fremont Peak Park on Saturday, August 25th, has been cancelled.  Instead, the neighbors who care for and groom this public park hope to see everyone for the next work party on September 22nd.

Fremont Peak Park is a city park maintained almost entirely by volunteers.  More hands are always needed for pulling weeks, spreading mulch and beautifying this community green space.  Some gloves and tools are available during public work parties, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own – along with their own water bottle.

Due to a lack of rain, and a lack of weeds, the scheduled work party on August 25th has been cancelled.

Instead, on Saturday, September 22nd, from 10a – Noon, there will also be some beverages and treats on-hand for working volunteers, especially for those who RSVP, to info@FremontPeakPark.org, in advance.
