The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is making improvements to arterial streets in the Green Lake and Wallingford neighborhoods, including some connecting to Fremont. Anyone interested in learning more can attend one of the drop-in sessions scheduled to view the designs and give feedback.
SDOT is making multi-modal changes to arterial streets, and these improvements will make a difference in how we all get around our area – by car, truck, bike and foot. Find out more at:
- July 17th from 5p – 7p, at the Good Shepherd Center, Room 202
- July 21st from Noon – 2p, at the Good Shepherd Center, Lower Level
- July 24th from 5p – 7p, at the Green Lake Branch Library
- July 28th from Noon – 2p, at the Green Lake Branch Library
These public meetings will include light refreshments, and kids’ activities. However, for those unable to attend, SDOT will also have some information about these projects available on-line (click here,) until August 8th.
The Green Lake and Wallingford paving projects include more than four miles of new, enhanced and/or upgraded bike lanes:
- On N 50th St, west of Stone Way N
