On Saturday, November 1st, starting at 6p, Fulcrum Community Communications will hold a fundraiser for creating a low-power, FM, non-profit, community radio station. The live-music and awareness raising event will take place at Conduit Coffee, at 2501 Westlake Ave N, with Tom Nook, Frankle & the Cankles, Satori Destroyer, Sunset Flip, and DJ Knifula. In addition to having people on hand ready to answer questions or take requests about the future of low-power radio in Fremont (and Ballard/Greenwood,) raffle tickets will be sold ($1 a piece,) for great prizes! Snacks and T-shirts will also be for sale.
For $5 – 10 donation at the door, come meet current members of Fulcrum and learn more about how we can all bring local, community radio to the Center of the Universe!
