On the evening of Tuesday, July 28th, from 5p – 9p, ‘Spoke & Food’ will take place – inviting everyone to get out dining for a good cause. Ride your bike, with friends and family, to one of a dozen eating establishments, which have pledged to give 20% of total sales this night to the Seattle Neighborhood Greenways organization.
Seattle Greenways advocates for safer streets through creating a connected network of non-arterial side streets for safe passage for bicyclists of all ages, skills and uses. Volunteers with Seattle Greenways plan and advocate for safer streets, among neighborhoods and the City of Seattle, to get people where they want to go.
This year, ‘Spoke & Food’ invites everyone to dine out at one (or more) of these establishments on Tuesday, July 28th:
- Barking Dog Alehouse (Ballard)
- Canterbury Alehouse (Capitol Hill)
- Flying Squirrel Pizza (Seward Park)
- Fremont Brewing Company (Fremont)
- Highliner Public House (Interbay/Magnolia)
- Lucia (Green Lake)
- Maritime Pacific Brewery (Ballard)
- Proletariat Pizza (White Center)
- Razzi’s Pizzeria (Greenwood)
- Vios Café at Third Place Books (Ravenna)
- The Watershed Pub & Kitchen (Northgate)
- The Westy (West Seattle)
Click on establishment names to find their menu, and specific locations, to help you decide where you want to go – before or after your stop in the urban beer garden of Fremont Brewing.
Join in this annual event, to get out and get biking to dinner – and meet friends and family there! Help raise funds, and awareness, of Seattle Greenways, while trying out an unfamiliar eatery, or enjoying an old fav. ‘Spoke & Food’ will get you out in our community, enjoying the fellowship of others while feasting. (No bicycle is required to participate – it’s only more fun that way!)
