Sad News – The Red Door To Close On March 8th

On March 8th, the legendary Red Door restaurant and bar will close for good, after 31 years of business.

The owners posted a notice on the door stating that they can no longer make the business work financially.  They expressed gratitude to their customers and how much they will miss being part of the “wonderful” Fremont community.

They’ve asked neighbors and customers to come by, between now and March 8th, to raise a glass (or have a great meal,) in celebration of what the Red Door has given us.

On Sunday, February 16th, from 5p – 11p, there will be a Red Door Reunion.  Former and current employees, and their fans, are encouraged to gather, reminisce and raise a pint (or two) in farewell.  The pub will be open to the public, and regulars, who want to join in the fun as well, and special guest bartenders will be pouring!

The Red Door owners have asked for photos and memories.  Both can be posted on the Red Door Facebook page (click here.)
