Seattle Public Utilities has sent out another notice reporting another delay in the schedule of traffic closures on Stone Way between North 34th & 35th Streets.
Due to rainy weather forecasts, the construction team doing the work on a drainage system related to the rebuild of the North Seattle Transfer Station, has delayed work on Stone Way.
The current schedule is now:
- Week of October 27th – 24 hour closure of Stone Way between N 34th & N 35th St for daytime excavation work. Closure is expected to last up to five days.
- Week of November 3rd – Daytime closure of city sidewalk in front of the Brooks Building (Stone34) for drainage system installation
- Weeks of November 10th & 17th – Partial daytime closure of N 34th St
- Week of November 17th – restoration of sidewalk in front of Brooks Building
