On Saturday, May 21st & Sunday, May 22nd, Salsa Con Todo offers a unique opportunity to learn from cutting edge Afro-Latin Dance artist Sekou McMiller.
Over the weekend, take a class or the whole series of classes, in the fundamentals of Latin Dance, and the roots of salsa. Check out:
- Afro-Cuban Fundamentals, on May 21st from Noon – 1:30p, learn fundamentals of salsa through African-based rhythms and body movements. These dances will add special depth to your abilities, and further increase your familiarity with Latin music grooves and nuances. Cost: $28
- Latin Jazz Fusion Fundamentals, on May 21st from 1:30p – 3p, this introduction to new movement in Latin dance will help with fusing various dance styles, from traditional to new-age club dances. Take your dance to the next level and beyond. Cost $28
- Body Movement/Latin Soul Fundamentals, on May 22nd from Noon – 2p, this introduction to body awareness, alignment, power and movement will give detailed instruction and initiations unique to Latin Soul dance. Learn how to strengthen your lines and the source behind them. Cost: $35
