On Monday, January 23rd, at 8p, the Sandbox Artists Collective says “To Hell With Love,” one night only, performing a third episode, at West of Lenin, of its wildly successful Sandbox Radio Live!
Sandbox Radio is written, produced and performed by many of Seattle’s hottest stage talents. “To Hell With Love” particularly features the special musical guest Heather Curtis Mullin, and a tribute to the ‘poet laureate of radio,’ the late Norman Corwin.
Conceived, produced and directed by Leslie Law, this episode of Sandbox Radio features Sandbox Artists Collective members including Eric Ray Anderson, Rik Deskin, Ki Gottberg, Sarah Harlett, Tracy Hyland, Darragh Kennan, Mik Kuhlman, Charles Leggett, Todd Jefferson Moore, David Natale, Larry Paulsen, Dan Tierney, Annette Toutonghi, and Kathryn Van Meter. They will perform four new works created just for the radio:
- Charlotte Doesn’t Clean Here Anymore by Scot Augustson
- T-Minus by Elizabeth Heffron
- Markheim: Episode 3 by Paul Mullin
- F You, Cupid! by Anita Montgomery
The show also includes original music by Jose Gonzales and the Sandbox Radio Orchestra.
Sandbox Radio will be recorded, live, in front of its ‘studio’ audience, for future podcast. Subscribe and listen to past episodes through the on-line iTunes store.
Reservations are recommended, through Brown Paper Tickets, to get a seat. Suggested donation for the show will be $10, payable at the door.
