On Tuesday, June 1st from Noon – 1p, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will present a virtual Transit Forum by the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) – especially for Fremont businesses.  This forum will focus on changes coming to the METRO Route #40 corridor.

SDOT has significant changes planned for this corridor, including the streets of Fremont.  The changes are aimed at improving bus times for this very popular bus route – even during the pandemic, Route #40 was one of the most often ridden routes in Seattle – and they could significantly impact the flow of freight and delivery vehicles.  Find out more about the Route #40 Corridor Changes (click here.)

During this Forum, representatives from SDOT will present their plans and changes, but they will also be taking input from those who own and manage businesses in the Fremont neighborhood.  Your voice will help this discussion and contribute to making these changes better for the whole community.

Please pre-register to attend this FREE forum, and get the directions for being a part of this on-line discussion.  For more information, and a link to registration, visit the Fremont Chamber Constant Contact webpage (click here.)
