Seattle Public Library Computer System Interruption On January 21st

On Monday, January 21st, the Seattle Public Library will perform scheduled maintenance on its computer system.  The upgrade is estimated to take 2 – 4 hours to complete.

All locations of the Seattle Public Library, including the Fremont Branch, will be closed on January 21st in honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The scheduled maintenance will interrupt online services requiring log-in, including:

  • Access to the online catalog – patrons will be able to search the catalog but not view their library account to renew or place holds on items
  • Patrons will not be able to make fine payments online
  • SPL Mobile will have limited access
  • Databases will be unavailable

For more information on the maintenance program, call the Library at 206-386-4636.
