Seattle Public Library Seeks Feedback On Its Website

Starting today through Tuesday, October 25th, the Seattle Public Library is asking for feedback on a short survey about the re-design of the SPL.org website.  Click here to access the survey.

Through the website of the SPL, cardholders can access library resources.  A redesign of the SPL website is intended to make access easier, and feedback from users will ensure the redesign is a success.  Survey responses will help the library create a portal of better use when looking through the book and material collection, seeking educational classes and services, and finding librarian assistance.

The 2012 Library levy was, in part, for improving computer and on-line services including upgrading the website.  The expectations for the newly designed site is one flexible, intuitive and able to evolve as the needs of patrons change.  The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed in late 2017.

The survey can also be accessed in Chinese, Amharic, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese.  For more information, visit the SPL website, or call the Library at 206/386-4636.
