The Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest (formerly Hop Scotch) will take place this year over Friday & Saturday of Easter Weekend, April 14th & 15th. Tickets can be purchased now to this entertaining, and educational, tasting event, held inside the spacious Fremont Studios.
Of course, the Scotch & Beer Fest requires volunteers to make it happen. This fundraiser, for The World Is Fun (TWIF) programs, takes over 500 volunteers – and all of them get free entry! Volunteers actually get a backstage, all-access look at the inner-workings of the Festival, including all the fun and entertainment that ticket buyers see, plus gaining the good karma that comes from contributing to a great cause.
Volunteers also gain:
- A free beer admission to the event, including a commemorative tasting glass and seven tasting tokens
- An exclusive, and official, Volunteer T-shirt
- The opportunity to meet new people and improve bartending skills
Volunteers enjoy this premiere beer, whiskey, and wine tasting experience. The Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest features 50+ craft beers, hard ciders, authentic Scotch & Irish Whiskey flights, and seminars on Scotch. Volunteers, along with ticket holders, can talk to the experts who will be on-hand to guide tasters through their experience.
These gi-normous beer garden benefits The World Is Fun, a non-profit dedicated to organizing volunteers for fun, enriching activities to allow social interaction while providing civic support. TWIF creates original, signature events, and partners with local businesses and other non-profit organizations to get people engaged in activities that fit their interests, passions and busy schedules.
