The Wallingford Community Senior Center offers elders living alone and/or of low-income to access programs and activities that make their lives easier. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the WCSC has had to close its facility but the staff have still been hard at work, staying in touch with seniors in need and finding creative ways to serve these at risk members of our community. With vaccines available, the Senior Center has re-opened, increasing the need for cleaning and staff working extra hard to serve – while keeping everyone safe.
On Saturday, November 6th from 6p – 8p, the Wallingford Community Senior Center will hold a virtual fundraising celebration, ‘Share To Care’, for the WCSC and our seniors. Over Zoom, take part in a trivia game, the premier Hall of Gratitude presentation, and live auction. For those willing to give a little more, and get themselves fully into the party mood, pre-purchase a wine & cheese package.
Please buy a ‘ticket’ for $25 to participate in this opportunity to support and celebrate our seniors. Register on EventBrite (click here,) or call 206/461-7825 to register. For questions or more specific information, contact events@wallingfordseniors.org Please consider helping the WCSC to continue to connect, engage, and collaborate with the elders of our community.
