The Seattle Public Library has launched its popular summer reading program for adults again this summer.  This is the fifth year for the city-wide Book Bingo challenge.

Co-presented by Seattle Arts & Lectures, Book Bingo provides a fun and creative way for readers to expand and diversify their reading choices.

Pick up a Bingo card at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library, or another branch (or print one out from the SPL website.)  Each square on the Bingo card gives a challenge – read a DIY book, made into a movie, play or poetry, etc. – and readers can complete squares, towards gaining interesting choices – or towards winning a potential prize.

Book Bingo runs through September 3rd, and only readers aged 18 and up are eligible to win.  After a Bingo card is completed, it can be dropped off at the Fremont Branch, or any Library location,  or mailed in, for entry into a prize drawing.  Blacked out cards are entered for a drawing for tickets to Seattle Arts & Lectures events, while those with a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line completed, will be entered into a drawing for gift cards to a Seattle independent bookstore.

Stop by the Fremont Branch Library now to get your Book Bingo card, and to get more information and advice from our neighborhood library staff!  Get reading this summer!!
