This Saturday, August 17th, the Fremont Outdoor Movies will have a special 21+ only screening, raising money for Cranio Care Bears, featuring the film ‘Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy.’
This 2004 comedy film, co-written and starring Will Ferrell, pokes fun at the Action News format popular in the 1970s. Ferrell stars as Ron Burgundy, an anchorman, “chauvinistic, deluded and ridiculous,” according to Claudia Puig of USA Today, “testimony to Ferrell’s comic talents.” The film also stars Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carell.
