On Saturday, April 16th (at 11a & 1p) and Sunday, April 17th (also at 11a & 1p), Studio East will present another of their entertaining and educational theater productions for children when they bring Storybook Theater to Hale’s Palladium.  This time the kids will meet ‘Sleeping Beauty’, and her potential prince.  These two young people are learning to “follow your dream” while respecting the ways of parents and responsibility.

Princess Beauty is a cutie, but being pretty doesn’t cut it when you really want to slay dragons and find adventure.  Will the Prince save her from a 100-year-nap, or will she save him?  Expect a story, updated and adapted by Lani Brockman, with original music and lyrics composed and performed by Susan Bardsley.

This production offers  a lot of action, and interaction, for the kids, as well as a story that can engage the minds of adults.  Shown in the casual comfort of the Palladium, parents can also order a delicious meal (with the new Showtime-Meals-To-Go) and maybe even a Hale’s Ale (like the new Sidekick.)

Purchase tickets for this show through the Storybook Theater website.  If you can’t make this production, consider seeing the Storybook ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at Renton Carco Theater on April 23rd or 24th, at Kirkland Performance Center on April 30th, May 1st, 7th or 8th, Everett PUD Auditorium on May 15th, or Shoreline Conference Center on May 21st.  Tickets to all shows cost $15 per person
