Sunday Market Announces Awaited Easing of COVID Restrictions

This month the Fremont Sunday Market, as operated by Northwest Marketplaces, returns to a flat fee system for its vendors.  Thanks to the efforts of so many, Northwest Marketplaces has also been able to lift social distancing and occupancy restrictions on all of the Summer Markets they operate – and bringing back the popular pop-ups!

Public Health – Seattle & King County has allowed the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions.  Over the 16 months of restrictions, not one single case of COVID has been linked to a Northwest Marketplaces market.  They thank everyone for doing their part!

Restrictions limited vendor participation, which required more fees and constraints.  Northwest Marketplaces has now returned to payment of one fee by all vendors – and is anxiously anticipating return of many more of past vendors at the Fremont Sunday Market.  The Northwest Marketplaces were built around simplicity, affordability and creating an open marketplace that welcomes makers, finders and foodies to vend effortlessly in a unique community culture.  Unfortunately, for now, they will not be able to provide for day-of sign-in non-member vendors.
