Nearly all of Fremont’s restaurants are now open, for take-out orders and delivery. The City of Seattle has a website, SupportSmallBiz, that shows a lot of the restaurants open right now, and what kind of service they are providing.
Restauranteurs have pointed out that ordering directly from area restaurants, and picking up your order, cuts down on their overhead and increases their profit. However, when it isn’t possible, most of our restaurants are connected with one, or more, of the delivery services – Caviar, GrubHub, DoorDash, and UberEats.
One service, Tock, has provided restaurants with reservation services but now offers pick-up ordering from some of our most delicious local eateries, as well as alcohol. Check out:
- Pablo Y Pablo – This Mexican restaurant, and bar, located in East Fremont, has specialty meal kits available for ordering days in advance. Check out the upcoming special kits – Taco Tuesdays, Fried Chicken Tacos, Pork Carnitas Enchildas, etc. – as well as margaritas, and with Tock, place an order for a particular day (click here.)
- Fiasco – This new-ish casual neighborhood Italian restaurant has a close partnership with Claret, the wine shop located in its corner. Order pre-paid meal kits, and the wine to go with it, through Tock (click here.)
- Le Coin – A modern French-American restaurant located in Upper Fremont provides gourmet meals using seafood, meat and game sourced from sustainable farms. Pre-order the Sunday Night Fried Chicken dinner, Sunday Brunch and one of their cocktail kits, a bottle of wine or To-Go single serving cocktails. Check it out on Tock!
This is a great time to check out a new Fremont restaurant, or re-visit a long-time favorite, and support their business efforts. Enjoy a delicious, non-home-cooked meal, and know you are making a difference, by ordering a meal – for take-out or delivery – today!
