Support Our Nightclubs NOW For The Future Of Our Music Community

Enjoy this music party while in the comfort of home, on July 18th from Nectar!

During the COVID-19 lockdown, Fremont’s entertainment venues have been closed for the safety of audiences, staff and performers.  With new, tighter restrictions coming for this beleaguered industry, it is more important than ever that we all look for ways we can support and encourage these area businesses, and the artists that depend upon them.

Right now, Nectar Lounge and High Dive are producing a series of Virtual Concerts, providing a medium for musicians to perform on.  Please consider listening in on one of these concerts, and encouraging friends and family to take a look – and Pay-What-You-Can ($10 minimum) which goes to the venue, the artists and the non-profit beneficiary of their choice.

Support Wild Powwers, and High Dive, by watching the virtual concert!

Upcoming virtual concerts are:

Support our nightclubs, and performers, through the Virtual Concert Series.

Your contributions and audience are both greatly appreciated.  Find out more on the Nectar Lounge website (click here,) and the High Dive Facebook page (click here.)

Show more support for our nightclubs, and all venues, by signing the letter at Save Our Stages

Nectar also asks for support by voters for a letter writing campaign, pleading to Congress for a stimulus bill to fund life support for independent venues and promoters.  Without this bill, 90% of independent venues (like Nectar and High Dive,) festivals and promoters across the U.S. may be forced to close their doors forever.

The industry has a website, SaveOurStages (click here,) and it has a form letter ready for signing and sending to our Congressmembers.  Congress will be voting on this stimulus bill this month, so these letters need to be sent now.  It’s quick, easy and free.  Ask legislators to support and co-sponsor S 3814 and HR 7481 Restart Act, to provide for our venues, our artists and, ultimately, our community.
