Survey On Library Transport Results Revealed

The Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library did a straw poll over the last few weeks, asking patrons how they traveled to visit our small library.  The overwhelming answer was: by foot!

A library staffer expressed surprised at how few people responded that they used a bicycle to reach our branch.  The lack of vehicular transportation was less of a surprise given that the Fremont Branch does not have an adjoining parking lot, unlike the nearby Ballard, Broadview and Green Lake branches.

New Supervising Librarian for the Fremont Branch, Hannah Parker, came up with the idea for the straw poll.  The data will help the staff better serve patrons that visit our branch.  However, the poll had to be taken down to make room for the special display at the Fremont Branch to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Harry Potter book series.

Stop by to see the display, and learn more about the resources the Fremont Branch and the Seattle Public Library system can provide.
