The 46th Street Mural may create much more for our community than an art covered wall. The Steering Committee continue to work – even after the mural is finished, and they’ve shared the results from an on-line survey they conducted that gave feedback on the mural, and other aspects of our community.
Now that Fremont has enjoyed the beautiful, colorful and interesting mural – by Todd Lown – on the North 46th Street underpass for a year, its time to pitch in and make it tidy once more, on Sunday, April 17th, from 11a – 2p.

In complete keeping with the incredible community-building energy behind this project, the official dedication of the new mural along the 46th Street underpass of Aurora Avenue collected together a great cross-section of the Fremont/Wallingford neighbors on Friday, August 27, 2010.
