Woodland Park Zoo Visitors Can Now See Jaguar Triplets

According to a blog post written by Rebecca Whitham, the jaguar cubs at Woodland Park Zoo have made their debut to visitors – and in the rain. The three-month-old jaguar triplets (brother Kuwan and sisters Inka and Arizona) had their first practice session outside on July 27th.

Last Chance To See Sloth Bears At Woodland Park Zoo This Weekend

This weekend, see the Sloth Bears – Randy and Tasha – at the Woodland Park Zoo for the last time until the completion of construction on their new exhibit space, scheduled for 2014. To say good-bye to the bears, who will move into an off-view area for the duration, stop by the Zoo on September 15th -16th between 9:30a – 6p. Entrance fees will apply.

Lost Dog FOUND! With Thanks To All!

The family of Puzzle, a dog lost at Gas Works Park last week, sent notice that she has returned, safe and sound. They also shared their thanks to those who helped in the search. “It does seem like everyone in the area has been looking out for her,” reported Puzzle’s mom on Tuesday, July 17th.

Plans For After The Holiday? Think Woodland Park Zoo!

The Woodland Park Zoo is open every day, and this mild winter weather makes a stroll around the grounds a perfect activity for the whole family. On December 26, 27 & 28th follow a carefully scheduled wildlife trek as part of the Winter Celebration. Watch the animals munch on special holiday-themed treats including wreaths of assorted fruits, evergreen trees with ornamental fruit, boughs and wrapped boxes.
