Professional artists, from anywhere, are eligible for this Call For Artists, with applications due by 10:59p on March 19th.
On February 9th, from 10:30a – 4:30p, Dusty Strings Music School will also offer a one-time-only workshop. Join Dusty Strings fiddle teacher Kat Bula and Bellingham performance artist Jenna Bean Veatch for a special class in ‘Musical Improvisation for the Terrified.’
The Fremont First Friday Art Walk returns on February 1st, from 6p – 9p, with plenty of beautiful and fascinating art on display, including a harpist performing throughout the night.
On Thursday, January 24th, from 1p – 3:30p, the Wallingford Community Senior Center will host a Mix & Match Art Class – focused on the use of pastels.
The first Fremont Art Walk of 2019 takes place from 6p – 9p on Friday, January 4th, and will feature some fabulous female artists. Make sure to include a stroll through the Center of the Universe among your Friday plans.
This week the new and improved Fremont Guidepost was sunk back in the ground at the Center of the Universe, so we will all know how to find our way to our favorite locations – if we must leave our dear corner of quirkiness.
On Saturday, December 15th, at 7:30p, attend a stirring performance of Handel’s ‘Messiah’ by Orchestra Seattle and Seattle Chamber Singers at the First Free Methodist Church.
On Sunday, December 16th, from 3p – 8p, stop by the workshop studio of Rodman Gilder Miller for live glass blowing demonstrations and a chance to purchase original glass art for gifts.
