On Friday, December 1st, from 6p – 9p, the Fremont First Friday Art Walk takes on special significance, as it offers a free showcase for area artists – and a chance to explore venues around the Center of the Universe that sell art, artisanal items and unique, creative gifts, ideal for the wonderful people in your life including yourself!
On December 1st, 2nd & 3rd, Fremont Festivus will celebrate the season, and shopping sales in our business district, with several free events.
On Thanksgiving Day, we say ‘Thank You’ to whomever decorated the ‘Late For The Interurban’ statue, by Kevin Pettelle, by putting some amazing, retro logo buttons on J.P. Patches.

The Fremont Players are bringing a British Panto performance to Hale’s Palladium once again this holiday season. Starting December 9th, see a classic, and comedic, rags-to-riches story – ‘Cinderella’, coming to us on weekends through January 14th.
On Saturday, November 18th, at 8p, the Fremont Abbey Arts Center will host a special concert featuring Jason Hawk Harris, with The Novel Ideas and Curtis McMurtry.
On Saturday, November 18th, Burnt Sugar will host a pop-up shop for Shannon Koszyk Jewelry. The artist will be on hand from 1p – 7p, to show her unique, handmade works and meet local fans.
On Saturday, January 27th, the Seattle7Writers will host their annual one-day writing intensive, Write Here Write Now at The Swedish Club, and early-bird discount registration will be available for a short time.
By December 31st, Fleur de Lis will close its doors on its Fremont location at the bend of Leary Way NW into N 36th St. They want to thank all the customers who’ve shopped with them over the years, and invite everyone to attend an extended closing store sale.
