This Friday, August 2nd, the Fremont First Friday Art Walk (from 6p – 9p) will celebrate summer – and art! Come down and see all the amazing venues, and the artists on-display all over the neighborhood.

Next Saturday, August 3rd, starting at 3p, the latest installment in the Fremont Fireside Chat will take a stroll – ‘carry a torch’ – and use 3D visual aids to bring to life the dynamic development of Fremont’s waterfront, public art and the central retail core.
The free, open-to-the-public summer concert series ‘Music In The Sculpture Garden,’ concludes its 9th season this Sunday, July 28th, from 2p – 4p.
Next Monday, July 29th, West of Lenin will host the 9th installment of Sandbox Radio Live! This one-night-only recording of Sandbox Radio will start at 8p (with the Sandbox Radio Bar opening at 7p.) In mid-August, History House will have another segment of the pavers around the ‘Late For The Interurban’ statue of J.P. Patches & Gertrude, by Kevin Pettelle, engraved. This summer, enjoy ‘Poisoning Pigeons In The Park,’ at West Of Lenin. This revue of the ‘relevant, radical and risqué songs of Tom Lehrer,’ will be performed in Fremont July 25th – August 11th.
For four brief evenings, July 17th – 20th, local theater West of Lenin (WoL) will have a short-run of a play by Samuel Beckett called ‘Rockaby.’
