In April, members of Carrigaline and Seattle Irish Dancers plan a trip back to Ireland to participate in a music festival, but also to learn more about modern Ireland and the Celtic culture – and capture as much as they can in a docudrama to bring it home to us. Can you help?

The Fremont Arts Council (FAC) invites everyone who wants to make sweet valentines to their annual Valentine Making Party this Saturday, February 9th, from 1p – 5p at The Powerhouse (3940 Fremont Ave N.)
This Friday, February 1st, during the Fremont First Friday Art Walk, from 6p – 9p, explore new venues, of art display and art creation, among the known favorites participating every month in FFF.
On Saturday, February 2nd, see (and hear) Steve James & Del Rey in concert at Dusty Strings. Doors open at 7:00p for this all ages, live music experience combining the talents of James – a songsmith and bottleneck guitarist from Austin, Texas – and Rey – a complex, pianistic guitarist performer from Seattle. Tickets cost $18 per person ($9 for children under 12 years of age,) and are available at Dusty Strings – or by phone at 206/684-1662.
On Saturday, January 5th, from Noon – 4p, the Fremont Arts Council asks for your help cleaning up and organizing the Powerhouse, the organization’s clubhouse.
