Local filmmaker Michael Falcone’s documentary, ‘The Hall Of Giants: The Story of Fremont & The Troll’, has been nominated for Best Documentary and Best Cinematography prizes at the Nice International Film Festival in France. On Monday, May 15th, the film will be shown to audiences and judges, with the prize bestowed on the winning film on May 20th.

On Friday, April 29th, Mitzi Simons, a dear friend of Fremont and one of its most giving caretakers, passed away. On Saturday, May 7th, at 4p, friends will gather at Doric Lodge #92 for a celebration of her life.
