On Tuesday, February 26th, at 6:30p, Quiz Night for B.F. Day returns to Pecado Bueno. This popular evening of pub-style trivia is also a fundraiser with 100% of donations collected going straight to the B.F. Day Elementary School PTSA.
The community-based B.F. Day Elementary School will host two more Open Houses (Feb 6th at 8:30a & Feb 13th at 6:30p) for parents looking for a family school for their children, for Kindergarten – 5th Grade.
By November 14th, the B.F. Day PTSA hopes to raise money for vital programs not otherwise funded by the School Budget, such as Reading & Math Intervention, Classroom Tutors, Field Trips, Teacher Grants, Music Programs, Writing Programs(WITS), and Community Building Events like the Family Dinners.
The ‘Water Under The Bridge – Aurora Bridge Bioswale Concept Unveiling & Tour’ informational open house will be Sep 19th from 4:30p – 6:30p at Milstead & Co. Come learn how an innovative developer has provided a place where landscaping and design can create a cleaner public water table.
A fundraiser conducted by the Rotary Club of Fremont, on behalf of the B.F. Day School Playground Improvement project, was a naming contest for the Dinosaur Topiaries, which the Club keep trimmed and neat as part of their quarterly Burke-Gilman Trail clean-up. And the official names are: Dino & Dora!!
On Saturday, June 2nd, from 6p – 10p, the B.F. Day Elementary School PTSA is hosting the Arty Party at Fremont Abbey Arts Center. Come have a great time – and help raise money for programs that benefit our children!
Our public elementary school, B.F. Day, depends on volunteers to get a lot of stuff done. Please know that all help, whatever the magnitude, is noticed, appreciated and needed.
With his new role covering education, Seattle City Councilmember Rob Johnson has asked to hear from us about what’s most important in the world of education. This school year at B.F. Day Elementary, Fremont’s neighborhood school, there are at least 10 families in need of assistance, and there is an ask for Fred Meyer gift cards to help them make this holiday season happier for their children.
On Sunday, November 12th, from 10a – 1p, the B.F. Day Elementary School P.T.S.A. has organized a work party of parents and community members to clean the gardens and grounds around our school.
